Woodside Energy (ASX WPL) is Australia’s largest oil and gas producer and is included in all of the major ASX indices from ASX 20, ASX Top 50, to ASX All Ords.
Owning Woodside is gaining exposure to an operating business that produce oil and LNG price, while the commodities are the largest influence. The management can still add or destroy value. For those looking for direct oil, the exposure would be better to look at crude oil ETFs.
